It is ideally delivered at your offices, in conjunction with a Board/Senior Management meeting, when all of those who need to fully appreciate their responsibilities under the regulator’s rules will be in attendance.

Who is this for?

This course is designed for all Directors and Senior Managers of UK regulated firms. It will also be of interest to Compliance Officers, Internal Auditors and Audit Committee members.

  • Explain the application and purpose of the SYSC Sourcebook and the responsibilities of Directors and Senior Managers found in it
  • Describe what is meant by "appropriate systems and controls" and Operational Risk
  • Explain the requirements under "Employees, Agents and Other Relevant Persons"
  • Provide information on the current position of the regulator on SYSC, including reference to any upcoming changes.
